Who says I can't be free?

Alooooha!
Right now, I'm having vacation! :D
It's been so much fun so far and I have a pretty busy schedule; dance rehearsals, school work, cleaning up, seeing my family and friends... and there are a lot of magazines, books, series and films waiting for me to be seen/read!
So I'm gonna give you a quick update now :)
Last week, a friend of mine who's really into nail art did my nails! She's Vietnamese and she has this special nail paint that she gets sent from her family in Vietnam. *jealous* So she took her whole nail kit to school, specially for me :). I loooved the result!
Check it out, it's some kind of Spring pattern thing :p

I also want you to check out a website that one of my classmates made. She's very interested in photography and I think she has a lot of talent! This is her website; http://oldwishesoldphotographs.weebly.com/, she just got started with it so don't be too critical :). Make sure to check out her pictures, they're great!

And for me, I'm thinking about changing the design of my blog completely! I'm in for something new, something less black! So stay tuned, 'cause a lot of exciting things are coming up!

Well, I'm gonna enjoy the lovely weather some more ;) what about you guys? Do you have vacation now?

Lots of love,

Watch Me.

Hey guys!
I have two 'designers' to present you! And as the title of this post reveals, they both create original and outstanding things. They're both genius and I can't get enough of their work. I think artist is a better word for what they are. Once you're familiar with them & their work, you're gonna want more and more! No exaggeration, they're serious!

Curious? :) You better be!

1) Kobi Levi
This Israeli designer creates shoes based on everyday things, think of birds, bananas, chairs, slides, markets, dogs... literally everything you can imagine!
His work is sooo innovatory, I immediately admired Levi.
Some of the designs are kinda 'gaga' and not really wearable (according to me) al though he says every single pair is meant to be worn. Let's see and decide for yourself ;) or how everyday things can result into extraordinary stuff...

Mallard Duck

Slide

Olive Oyl

Blow

Chewing gum (--> my favorite!)

AMAZING, ha? :) Can't get enough of it? Visit Kobi's blog! click here

2) Paige Thompson

Second 'designer' I wanna introduce to you, is called Paige Thompson. She's 21 years old and caused a trend in the States by turning her lips into a real piece of art. One day, she was just so bored that she decided to paint her lips and make animals of them...
Sounds pretty weird, but it has a verrrrry cool result! Check it out!

Sweet!

Scarlett Johansson for Mango

So the beautiful miss Johansson is the face for the new collection of Mango! For the fourth time already :)
She looks stunning on the photos but rather sad... (well, if I'd have had a divorce from Ryan Reynolds, I'd be sad too!).

The spring/summer collection is called Modernist Resort and looks very sunny with a lot of retro prints and bright colors

Wazzuuup

SORRY SORRY SORRY! Sorry for not posting for like almost a month, I guess?!
Of course I have a lot to tell you! First of all I had a great today! No school work, some family coming over and my mom baked like so much yummy goodies! Brownies, chocolate cupcakes, fruit pie... it was like some kind of party going on :p and I got my Cosmopolitan today so yep, a perfect wednesday :).

Besides that, Justin Bieber's movie Never Say Never 3D premiered yesterday! Well, in L.A it did....
I, on the other hand, have to wait for another month to see it :( sad... but I'm soooo excited to see it! March is going to be epiiiiic! Never Say Never 3D comes out on the 9th and Justin is coming to Belgium on the 30th and of course I'm going! Front row, baby ;). Can't wait!!!

Justin on his premiere with his manager, Scooter Braun

I also received the nail foils + nail tool kit I won with a giveaway! They look smashing (haven't put them on yet!). Check it out:

Thanks to Natascha and to Blixz!

Can't wait to try it out but I want it to be perfect so I'm gonna wait till the perfect moment 'cause I don't really have oceans of time at the moment...
But but but wanna know where I do make time for? The Vampire Diaries! Oooooh, I'm so into that for the moment, almost finished season 1 and can't wait to start season 2! I try to watch an episode every day 'cause it's just one of the best series ever. Exciting story (and if you think you've had it with vampires by now, think again), mysteries, murders, good music, and hot guys. I mean, c'mon:

What does a teenage girl need more?! ;)

Anywaaaaay, to end with, I wanna show you a beautiful ad I spotted in my brand new Cosmopolitan. It's from DKNY and I fell in love with it! Really, it's just a 'simple' picture but it's such a strong one!
The shoes, clothes, colors, everything's just perfect.
(ps. and doesn't Blake Lively just look stunning on the cover?! Gotta love her.)

Galaxy nails

Hello dear followers!
Since I'm sick and have to stay at home for the rest of the week (luckily I don't have glandular fever but just caught a bad flu), my life is kinda boring for the moment. My days consist of sleeping, reading, watching TV and ...well, that's actually it.

Today I decided to try out the 'galaxy nails' I saw with Marjolein from http://la-mode-rétro.blogspot.com. She even did a video tutorial about them and I couldn't wait to try it out myself! And since I have plenty of time, now was a good moment! I have to admit that Marjoleins galaxy nails are much prettier than mine but I think mine look sort of nice as well :). Here's the result:

This is what I used for them, I know it looks like a lot of work but it's actually kinda easy! I used these colors (sorry for the dark picture!) but you can choose what you like of course. You just need a lot of glitter nail polish!

Let me know what you think and in case you've tried it out yourself, don't hesitate to let me know how it looks and show me some pictures! I love the whole idea of galaxy nails and I think they look different on everyone.
And if you've spotted some other cool nail ideas or something, please tell me! 'Cause I just looove to experiment with my nail polish :)

Tell the world I'm coming home

First, I wanna apologise for the lack of posting!
But things have been quite busy the last few days.. thursday, it was my birthday and it was one of the best birthdays I ever had! I got the coolest presents ever! My friends and family have been very creative and the whole day was just perfect :).
(I'll upload some pics of my presents next week!)

The day before that I got a mail from Natascha from http://fashionnicotine.com, and guess what?! I won the giveaway! How awesome is that! :D I won some kinda nail foils and I just can't wait to receive them, and see how they look!

But unfortunately, I don't have only good news to tell because I'm sick for the moment!
Seeing the doctor tomorrow and it might be glandular fever.. I really hope it's not!

xx Cassie
